I have used a few different Tool Tip programs over the years but none as easy to use as TipTip. As it says on the site:
TipTip is a better way to make custom tooltips. It’s lightweight (3.5kb), uses ZERO images, and is fully customizable via CSS.
I know this is going to sound like a paid commercial but honestly it is not at all. I just love this product. I have used it in a few sites here and there and I have to say that it is phenomenally easy to use. Not only that, all of your text for the tooltip boxes is right in your code. It actually pulls all of the tooltip content from the title tag. Which I believe is also forcing to you to do some SEO
TipTip uses the title attribute just like the native browser tooltip does. However, the title will be copied and then removed from the element when using TipTip so that the browser tooltip will not show up. TipTip is very easy to use and has many options to help you hone in on your own look and style. On top of that, it is almost completely done in CSS so it is VERY customizable.
I am going to post the video here and give you guys a link to the site as well. TipTip jQuery Tooltip Plugin
